In the current economic climate, citizens look to their governments for strong leadership and innovative services, but provisioned from streamlined and frugal budgeting. To cope with current economic situation and achieve the additional goals related to Climate and Inclusion, innovative but cost-effective solutions are required, and the new era of Cloud Computing delivers on this twofold new paradigm. Citizens are expecting a higher standard of service from their governments; but budgets are tighter than ever and fiscal and regulatory scrutiny is increasing.
